However, you need to operate touch screen if need to select music based on album/artist.

- Sometimes the behavior of SC-PMX9/PMX7 does not match O/I book or iPod/iPhone/iPad screen, but basic playback operation is working properly.
- Sometimes unexpected behavior or limitation other than the mentioned above may occur depending on your iPod/iPhone/iPad type or version.
(Press again search/skip/track selection/selector key to recover.) - Some versions mentioned above are not free for updating.
NOTE:
SC-PMX9/PMX7 has no function for recording to iPod/iPhone/iPad.

Please remove iPod/iPhone gently from iPod_Dock connector, do not use force.
(*1) To enable navigation for iPod touch/iPhone/iPad version 3.0 or later, please select "Music" on iPod touch/iPhone/iPad screen in advance.
Version 4.0 and above support "Multi tasking", which enable multiple application running at the same time. To use with this unit, please operate as a single operation mode. Music playback operation may not work when other application is running.
(*2) Initial setting for iPod touch/iPhone/iPad enables the automatic lock function. It will automatically lock the screen if not in use.
Basic operation such as playback/pause/skip is still possible, but user can disable this setting. However in this case, please immediately remove iPod touch/iPhone/iPad when the battery is fully charged.
(*3) Basic functions such as music playback/stop/skip/charging can be operated. However, you have to touch the screen to select music again from different album or artist.
(*4) Please update to the latest version. For version 4.1 and below, the following condition may occur:
- Noise during iPod touch/iPhone/iPad music playback.
- Cannot hear music or iPod touch/iPhone/iPad menu is not properly displayed when charging the fully discharged iPod touch/iPhone/iPad.
