Read this note before using the update file

Compatibility with Windows Media Player 10
The production number of the body (SD Multi Camera) is required for downloading the update.
Please have it handy before downloading.

Installation Procedures

Compatibility with Windows Media Player 10

  1. Select [Start](>>[Settings])>>[Control Panel],select the [MPEG4 Decoder Plug-in]
    software from [Add/Remove Programs] to uninstall.
  2. Create a folder for the file to be downloaded.
    Ex. c:\Temp
  3. Download the following file to the folder created in Step 2.5
    mpeg4_update.exe / 4,593,357 bytes
  4. When file extraction is completed, double-click "setup.exe" in the extracted file list.
  5. The installation will start. Follow the instructions on the screen.


    Note:
  • if you have installed the previous version of the plug-in,then an uninstallation will be executed as the first step of the installation procedures. Please restart the installation again after the uninstallation.
  • If Windows 2000/XP is used, then log in with the administrator's userid (computer administrator), or a userid with administrator privileges, and then carry out the installation or uninstallation.
