UN-W700 Firmware Download

Step 2. Download the latest firmware
  1. Click the "download" button below to download the latest firmware on your PC.
     
    UN-W70010078.exe / 184,229,904 bytes
     
  2. Double click the downloaded file and extract it. The extracted file will be named"UN-W70010078.UPD".
  3. Right click on the extracted file, and select "Properties". Make sure that the size of the file is 184,121,194 bytes. If the file size differs, please download it again. After checking the size, click [OK] and the "Properties" window will close.
Step 3. Save the firmware to SD card

Save "UN-W70010078.UPD" onto a blank, formatted SD card.

CAUTION:
- SDXC cards can’t be used for the firmware update.
- The firmware should NOT be placed into any folders on the SD card.
- Free space on the SD card must be more than 600MB.

Step 4. Install the firmware

CAUTION:Do not remove the AC adapter and SD card while the update is on progress.

  1. Turn on the unit.
  2. Connect the AC adapter.
  3. Insert the SD card.
  4. Press the MENU button ( ).
  5. Select "Settings".
  6. Select "About device".
  7. Select "Firmware update".
  8. Select "Update form SD card".
  9. Select [Yes], and the firmware will be deployed.


  10. The unit will restart automatically.
  11. The firmware update will start.


  12. When the update is complete, the unit will restart automatically and the Home screen appears.
