About the "VIERA remote"
The "VIERA remote" is a TV remote control application for iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad devices, enabling them to operate Panasonic plasma and LCD TV sets (referred to as VIERA TV below).
After installing the "VIERA remote" on your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device and connecting it via Wi-Fi to the home network where your VIERA TV is linked, you can use your device as a dedicated remote control while enjoying various possible operations between your VIERA TV and your smart phone.

Use this function to operate your VIERA TV from your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device without any remote control.
| 2.Remote Control Tab [Remote Control Button Function] |
When you tap the "Remote" icon at the bottom of the mobile screen, you can scroll on your VIERA TV in the same way as by its supplied remote control.
| 3.Keyboard Tab [Keyboard Function] |
You can type a text from your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device in the text input panel.
The Keyboard Function is activated automatically when the text input panel is displayed on your VIERA TV screen.
| 4.Cursor Control Tab [Cursor Controliing Function] |
You can control on your VIERA TV by using the touchpad on your device screen.
You can move the cursor freely, just like from any touchpad, when the mouse cursor is displayed on your VIERA TV screen and when scrolling by the cross keys of the remote control to display menu options.
| 5.Media Control Tab [Media Flicker Function] |
Use this function to watch your videos and images recorded with your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device, on your VIERA TV.
You can forward easily your recordings to your VIERA TV. You can also play them directly from your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device.
| 6.Web Browser Tab [Browser Function] |
You can always access the desired web pages from your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device.
Now, you can also send the accessed pages to your VIERA TV screen and watch them from there.
And you can also display the pages sent to the VIERA TV, on your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device.

Use this function to view TV programs, videos, images and audio files recorded on the SD card in your VIERA TV, by accessing it from your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device, while these contents are being displayed on your VIERA TV screen.

You can play your favorite games in the VIERA Connect more comfortably, now.

You can change various settings and switch between the VIERA TV sets in operation.

Use this function to display the list of unseen tabs at the bottom of the screen. Select the tabs to show on the screen from that list.
You can change the tabs on display in the tab edit panel.
1) Make the Wi-Fi settings on your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device and then to wireless LAN.

(1)Set Wi-Fi to "ON".
(2)Select your wireless LAN router.
(3)Connection is established when Wi-Fi antenna is displayed. |

2) Connect your VIERA TV to a wireless LAN router (use LAN cable or connect wirelessly), then make the network settings.

3) Make sure that the VIERA TV and the iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device are connected to the network.

Make sure that the gateways of the wireless LAN router and of the network are identical. |

4) Make sure that the "Network Remote Control" option is set to "Enable".

Explanations about the easy usage of the "VIERA remote" follow below.
1) Activating the application
The application is activated by clicking on the "VIERA remote" icon.
2) Device Selection
Select the VIERA TV to operate from the available devices displayed in the Device Selection panel.
3) Operating the application
You can operate your VIERA TV easily by "Remote" button or by gestures.

You can perform compatible operations by tapping the "Remote" button and change the displayed panels just by swiping them left-right.
When typing on the VIERA TV screen, the keyboard will appear automatically. You can also type and send the text to the VIERA TV.

Playing the data

You can send the web address from your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device to your VIERA TV and view the web page on the TV screen.
You can also receive the address of the web page displayed on TV at your iPhone/ iPod touch/ iPad device and view it on the device screen.

(2)Icon is displayed when you press long on web page.

When you shake your mobile device the power off button appears. If you press that button, the VIERA TV shuts down and the "VIERA remote" switches off at the same time.
