Hair Dryer nanocare EH-NA0K Mode, how to use, design, environmental friendliness
1. Use the 4 modes to give your hair a glossy texture. Moisturises your scalp and skin as well
1. Hot/Cold Alternating Mode
Select “HIGH,” or “MEDIUM” with the airflow switching button, and direct the warm air towards your hair, moving the dryer so that all your hair is reached. When it is about 90% dry, select “Hot/Cold Mark (Arrow)” with the air heat switching button
Temperature is the key to achieving glossy hair. The Hot/Cold Alternating Mode automatically switches between warm air and cold air. Heating the hair with warm air smooths out any frizz, and cooling it with cold air keeps it in that state. Without the frizz, the surface of the hair is regular and reflects the light, giving a smooth and glossy finish to your hair.

Effects vary depending on usage environment (season, temperature/humidity, etc.) and the individual

2. Intensive Hair Tip Care Mode
Select “LOW” with the airflow switching button, and “Hot/Cold Mark (Arrow)” with the air heat switching button
The Intensive Hair Tip Care Mode uses the sensor to automatically check the ambient temperature and alternates hot and cold airflow at the right intervals and air volume to provide the perfect finish for your hair tips. The weak flow is easy to direct and enables you to provide intensive care for all your hair tips.

Perform when your hair is almost dry

The effects of the Intensive Hair Tip Care Mode
[Trial method]
The hair tips were dried completely using a dryer as one would normally do after washing the hair. In one case Hair Dryer nanocare with built-in intensive hair tip care mode was used, and in the other case it was not

Panasonic survey
-
Effects vary depending on usage environment (season, temperature/humidity, etc.) and the individual

[Trial method]
Bunches of hair were finger-combed while being dried. The ratio of hair tip spread was 0.66 when dried with warm air (with airflow on “HIGH”) as compared to 0.55 when the Intensive Hair Tip Care Mode was used as far as the hair tips (for approx. 24 sec) after the hair was 90% dried with warm air (with airflow on “HIGH”)
The inverse value of the ratio of hair tip spread was calculated to give a rate of 1.3 times more sleekness

3. Scalp Mode
Select “SCALP” with the air heat switching button
Residual moisture on the scalp surface can cause unpleasant sensations such as clamminess. Scalp Mode gently dries your scalp with pleasantly warm air at a temperature of approx. 60℃*1.
-
Perform when your hair is about two-thirds dry
-
If you feel cold due to the surrounding air temperature, use the HOT setting and aim the airflow towards your head while keeping the hair dryer away from your scalp

4. Skin Mode
Select “SKIN” with the air heat switching button
Aiming at the face for about one minute locks in skin hydration. Recommended for use on skin after taking a bath, which tends to become dry easily.
-
Keep your eyes closed while using this mode.
-
Please follow your usual skincare routine, such as using a toner or emulsion.
-
If you select “SKIN” while the airflow is set at “HIGH” or “MEDIUM”, the airflow setting will switch to “LOW”. Press the air temperature button to return to the original airflow.
-
If the airflow button is pressed while using SKIN mode, the airflow light will flash twice and changes to the airflow cannot be made.

3. Basic drying method
Preparation
Remove excess moisture with a towel, for example, and untangle your hair by brushing or finger-combing.
STEP1 Start drying your hair from the roots
Dry your hair in this order: roots, main body of hair, then hair tips. The idea is to keep the dryer about 10 cm from your hair and move it slowly.
-
When drying the inner or back sections of your hair, be careful not to cover the main unit with hair to prevent it from being sucked in
-
The Quick-dry Roots Nozzle is recommended for people with long or thick hair, or when the air temperature feels low
・The air temperature differs depending on which attachments are used

STEP2 Add gloss with the Hot/Cold Alternating Mode
When your hair is about 90% dry, select “Hot/Cold Mark (Arrow)” with the air heat switching button.
Divide your hair into roughly four sections and direct Hot/Cold airflow two or three times to each place while finger-combing to keep the hair taut. The trick is to finish by directing Hot/Cold airflow onto your hair from your scalp down towards your hair tips.

People who want to increase hair volume
Lift the roots of your hair and blow warm air from the bottom upwards.

People who want to decrease hair volume
Brush your hair with your fingers in the same direction as the hair growth and aim warm air from the top to the bottom.

STEP3 Neaten your hair with the Intensive Hair Tip Care Mode
Select “LOW” with the airflow switching button and “Hot/Cold Mark (Arrow)” with the air heat switching button.
Hold the dryer closer to your hair (about 5 cm) and direct the airflow to both sides of the hair tips while finger-combing them to neaten them. This will make your hair sleek and glossy right down to the tips.
